Eight people were arrested and face felony charges connected to the fatal fireworks explosion July 1st that left 7 people dead in Yolo County. District Attorney's office says one is a sheriff's deputy who used his position to cover up the illegal fireworks operation as it expanded.

(FOX40.COM) — Yolo County prosecutors are announcing charges against seven people in connection with the deadly fireworks explosion that killed seven people last year in Esparto. The Yolo County District Attorney’s office did not publicly identify those charged in an announcement late Thursday evening.
